On PC, In order to run with full hardware acceleration on the GPU, it requires a shader model 3 compatible card with floating point blending mode (see the list of compatible cards). ProFX2 will also run on a computer equipped with a graphics card with lower specifications, but the texture rendering will be done using the CPU engine (which is also used in MapZone2).
