- create a Uniform Mix filter, plug both Emboss Filter and the map you want to add the effect on, and set the Blending Mode to Multiply

How to get an Emboss effect without specular


This trick may be usefull to add relief in a diffuse map without adding a lightning effect.
Here is a simple texture made of a colorized Wood_Noise.

If you add an EmbossFilter in your current map, you will get something like this :

In order to get only the shadow part of the Emboss effect follow this procedure :
